Reviews are most useful once you have a complete draft and a little time before the deadline to act on what we say. A week or more is ideal. They work well for a first application to a new funder, a larger request than you've made before, or a resubmission after an earlier decline.

A person reads your application and writes your comments. Tools may help us check details such as word limits and required documents, but the judgement and the advice are always a reviewer's own.
