Grant writing service for charities, CICs and community groups

Some applications are too important, or too big, to squeeze in between everything else. We write your application with you. You tell us about the work, we turn it into a clear, funder ready application, and you stay in control throughout.

£500

for one application

Serin subscribers save 10%.

£500 for one application, including

  • A planning call of up to 45 minutes about your project, the need and the fund.
  • A look at the funder's guidance and questions, so we answer what they actually ask.
  • A full draft of your application, up to 5,000 words in total, or the funder's own limits if lower.
  • Help shaping your outcomes and budget so the story hangs together.
  • Up to three rounds of your feedback and revisions. If we've got something wrong, we put it right without using up a round.
  • A final read through against the funder's criteria, word limits and required documents, with a submission checklist.

You submit the application yourselves, and we'll guide you through the portal if you need it.

How it works

  1. 1Tell us which fund you're applying to, or book a strategy call first if you're not sure.
  2. 2We have the planning call.
  3. 3You receive the first draft.
  4. 4You give your feedback and we revise.
  5. 5We do the final check, and you submit.

What we need from you

A little of your time for the call and to read the draft, and your key information: recent accounts, policies and any evidence of your impact. If you use Serin, your profile already holds much of this, which saves time.

What we won't promise

A grant. Nobody can honestly guarantee a funding decision. We can make sure your application is clear, complete and honest, and that it answers what the funder is asking.

Bigger applications

Over 5,000 words, a multi stage application, or a second application? Tell us and we'll quote.

How we use AI

AI tools can help us research the funder and prepare first drafts. A person writes the final application, checks every claim against what you've told us, and is responsible for it.

Questions

How long does it take?
We'll agree timing before we start, based on your deadline. If there isn't enough time to do it well, we'll tell you.
Can you write for funds that aren't on Serin?
Yes.
Who owns the application?
You do.
Do I need a Serin subscription?
No.
What if I'm not happy with something?
You can ask for up to three rounds of changes. If we've got something wrong, we'll put it right without using up a round. We'll always talk it through and be fair.

Already have a draft? An application review may be all you need.
